I hope you are all keeping well and not too disappointed that the warm summer day we had last week has already gone! British weather , hey?! But, I love it when its not too hot, and when its cool and cloudy. Please do not think I am weird(as my friends do), I just do not like the sunny warm weather - it hurts my eyes, it makes me sweaty(urrgh!), it makes me tired, it makes me want to sit down and just be a couch potato. I love winter, winter is the best:)
Anyway, I have a few things to share with you guys. First and foremost, I am so sorry that I have not been able to blog or make a video tutorial or any project at all recently . I have been both busy and not too well. So, it has been almost impossible to keep up with blogging. I am sorry. I know I have had loads of new subscribers on youtube and subscribers to my newsletter for this blog - THANK YOU. Now if you are a new subscriber via the subscribe me button(Feedblitz one), I do apologise if you get update of the same post twice as I have tried all my best to sort this out, and failed miserably.I am still trying to work out how to make sure you get an update only ONCE when I update my blog.If it bothers you a lot, feel free to unsubscribe and when I do find a solution I will blog about it, then you can subscribe back if you wish.
I would also like to mention that a while back, an online magazine called mum and muslim has contacted me to ask whether I would like to contribute to their online magazine called mum and muslim , I said yes and now I contribute to their Creative Corner. I always wanted to create a channel where I can start right from the beginning of Cardmaking as I know, we have new cardmakers every day.And this has given me the opportunity to do that. My channel for this back to basics of cardmaking is called ComeAndLearn, and you can click HERE, to go straight to this youtube channel. I go through everything you need to start cardmaking and my aim is to start from very simple layout , covering many techniques in cardmaking, to more challenging projects. It will also cover some Art and papercrafts projects. So, check it out, and subscribe. It is different from my tassycrafty's channel on youtube since, this one is more 'teaching' oriented - which means, I try my best, to explain everything.I do not fast forward the clips and I think it is important for those who wants to understand how specific things work in the craft world. So, yeah, that's something I really enjoy.
Next in line, is that I am officially working WITH Crafty Individuals now. This simply means that , I will get some cool rubber stamps sent off to me so I can play with and share with you guys. If you check my previous blog(http://www.tassycrafty.blogspot.com), you will see that I have always admired Crafty Individuals products - So rest assured, I am not going to be any different now when using their stamps. I love working with things which inspire me and Crafty Individuals do exactly this to my brain and my wave of creativity. So I am super duper excited that they have appreciated my work enough to trust me with some goodies so I can share with you all. I now have a tab on top of this page where I am going to show projects made with Crafty Individuals products and I will also put some picture tutorials. Hope you will check it out and also check Crafty Individuals out too, they are way too cool, guys, if you are into vintage chic, or vintage, ephemera, you will simply fall in love with their stamps - trust my words on that. They also ship internationally!:)
Next is another exciting news.Remember that video tutorial I made showing you guys my drawings which I wanted to make into clear stamps? Well, my sister Ibtisam, has done a great job by doing all the computer work with them, like tidying up, resizing and making sure it fits the requirements (300 dpi or something) for custom made stamps and everything else, and right now, while I am typing this message, the stamps are in the works(yoohoo!) - but guys, I am seriously freaking out as , this is my very first time doing this.I have invested in this and now, I am both excited and dreading whether , I will sell any, lol. But, this is something I have been wanting to do for a very long time and now, 'La balle est deja partie', French saying which means, 'the bullet has already gone'..so let's wait and see. As soon as I get them, I will share with you guys and well, wish me luck okay!
Last but not least, I would like to thank all my newbies on youtube, thanks for subscribing and I haven't got round to thank each and everyone. And I know I said it before, but, yeah a give away will happen soon, just bear with me:)
Okay, that's about it for today - You all have a blessed Sunday and I do hope I can speak to you all very soon.
PS: If I am not around for a while, please forgive me and hang in there - I am probably just sorting some important things out which requires immediate attention.I already know there are a few issues I need to address in the next weeks or so - but I will try my best to provide you with an altered box tutorial.Hang in there peeps.
Bye for now
