I am once again, so excited to share another project. I did this a while back and decided to wait until we break up from school to edit as it was a long, very long video. I had to do a water colour painting to make some notes for my port folio so I filmed so I could share with you guys. It is not exactly a tutorial but those who paint will pick up on some techniques.
I majored in Fine Arts and my area of focus were Acrylic painting and Oil. painting. However, I do enjoy water colour painting, as it is a more 'free' technique. I have better control while using acrylics or oil. I like water colour as it gives me the confidence to apply colour, and not afraid to do mistakes. With water colour, you can add colour but hard to remove it. With acrylics or oil, you can correct mistakes by layering other colours on top. So , if you ask me, water colour is the most challenging , yet so versatile.
Anyway, I hope you have enjoyed watching this. There will be more tutorials, hopefully this week, so stay tunes. I am hoping to do my second video for my Colour Theory Series. If you have not watched my first video, you can watch it here:
Take care and thanks for stopping by, for supporting me.
Lots of love, as always,
