This is my first tutorial for this new year.I hope you will like it and hope it will inspire you to have a go.Here are some pictures and you can watch my video tutorial about how I have paint this over at youtube, in HD.However, due to youtube's ten minutes limit of video upload, I had to put most of it on fast forward mode.If you have any questions, please leave me a comment on here or email me,and I shall get back to you as soon as I can.
Produts used are: Prima paintable paper, Ecoline in Scarlet 334, Blue Violet 548, yellow ochre 227, Jacquard Pearl Ex in Super Bronze #664, Brilliant Gold #656, Water soluble crayons, watercolour pencils
I have used the ecoline with a watercolour painbrush dip in water. Then I have paint the flower while using another clean wet paintbrush to drag the ink around for a lighter tint of the ink colour. The ink dries very quickly, so I went over in some areas adding more layers of ink to make it darker, and to create depth.
I have coloured with the watercolour crayons and watercolour pencils, then wash over them with a wet painbrush.
Pearl ex is brilliant on its own or when mix with other colours. So, there you have it.Have a go and leave me a link if you do have a go at this so that I can see what you have done.
Take care and speak to you all soon.
