Here is another video tutorial today, which is also a first experiment for me.I have used modelling paste with a stencil to add a relief image to my card. I really like the end product however, the card buckled up.I think maybe during the drying process, the modelling paste pulled on the surface area of the card. I am not totally sure but I have to experiment with different cards to make a decision. Meanwhile, here is a tutorial of what I have made. You can also add colour to the modelling paste. I am thinking of using the modelling paste on canvas for a mixed media project , should be fun.
By the way, I am hoping to stick to a schedule with my updating of this blog and my youtube channel. So the day I have chosen is Sunday. Please do come back to check every Sunday for a new tutorial. Well, we shall see how that goes over the next few weeks.I have such a tight schedule but I have also decided to dedicate a time for this blog and my channel as they are also part of my 'growth' in terms of Arts and Crafts. I never cease to learn something new during my own tutorials!
Anyway here are a few pictures:-
Just be aware that my card buckled up. I have yet to experiement using maybe, heavier card stock and see if there is any difference. When and if I do, I will let you know.
Thanks for watching!
