I hope you are all keeping well. First and foremost, thanks to all my new subbies and thanks to those who have subscribed to my blog:) Really appreciate it.
I did not manage to make the Q&A video with my sister while she came to visit. So I will do the Q&A on my own when I get a chance.
What has been happening lately in my life? I will tell you.
I am now qualified as an Art Teacher . This can be confusing as I know some of you know me as an Art teacher already. I had to do a year's training in the UK to qualify to teach in the UK, hope that makes sense. Since September last year, I have been teaching and doing my training at the same time. I do not consider myself as a 'newly qualified' teacher as such since I am a qualified teacher overseas in my home country , however, the educational system in the UK is different, right? So, over the last nine years , I have been working in a secondary school, doing different roles to fully understand the whole UK Educational system. And by doing other things than teaching, this has confirmed how much I love teaching as even though when I did other jobs like Learning Support or Cover Supervisor, I feel the happiest when I am standing in front of a class, teaching, sharing my passion to my students.
I have to take a moment to thank all my colleagues and friends and my students who have been so supportive over my time at that school I was working at. I will never be able to forget you guys and I have to say, my students were my main source of inspirations when it came to teaching. They are so enthusiastic, so keen to learn, and such amazing artists. My time in that school came to an end and I now will be working in a different secondary school. While I am gutted to leave my first school,I am very excited to start my new school as an Art and French teacher. There will be many changes, many challenges but above all, I will be teaching, and living my dreams. God the almighty has blessed me and I am very grateful. My husband has been my 'Rock' throughout , supporting me daily! Thank you hubby:)
Anyway, onto today's post. I did a sister tag video and this will give you a chance to meet my sister who lives in Canada. You will also learn a little bit more about me. You will learn even more in my Q&A video coming up , soon, hopefully.
