Hey Crafters!
Hope you are all well. Today I would like to share this project I have made using the fantastic products from the Scrawlr Box April 2017. I have now been subscribed for a few months to Scrawlr box which is a monthly subscription box, providing a range of art supplies from markers to paint. So far I have thoroughly enjoyed opening my box every month to discover new products. What I really like is the fact that, had it not been for Scrawlr Box, I probably would have never bought these supplies since they are supplies, either I have never heard of, or supplies I would never usually use in my art work. Being an art teacher, it is imperative that I brush on my skills but to also learn new skills and techniques as my pupils have different likes and skills.
Therefore, getting new supplies is brilliant. The box also comes with a challenge each month. Each month, an artist will be featured and we have to use that artist as inspiration in order to create our own art work. I find this truly inspirational since I get to get out of my comfort zone to try a 'style' which perhaps is not my regular style at all. It really helps me to take risks and open up to a new world of creativity and exciting opportunities.
This month, the featured artist is Stina Jones. I have used her as an inspiration to create a cartoon charactor with a banner that reads 'Ramadan Kareem' which means 'Happy Ramadan'. This is the month of Ramadan for muslims , a month of fasting and reflection. So Happy Ramadan to you, if you are fasting. I also have an 'Eid Mubarak' art work coming up pretty soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
Without further ado, you can watch the video in HD HERE on youtube or just watch below. If you do go to youtube, please do remember to give me a thumbs up if you have liked it, subscribe if you have not and hit the 'bell' button to ensure you get notification when I do upload new videos. Your support means I can make more videos, share my art work and experience with you. So thank you for all your support so far. I know I do not upload regularly but I try my best.
Thanks so much for reading and supporting my blog. Do not forget to share this post with your crafty friends.
Take care and come back soon for more tutorials.
