Here is part 3 of the Mini Series Colouring Techniques I have put together for you all. This one is a copic colouring. Howerver I have a very limited colour palette as I do not own many copic markers as they can be quite expensive. So I had to colour in using what I have on hands. I wished I had a light brown and some pinks. But anywya, here we go.
You can watch the video HERE on youtube or below. If you go to youtube, do not forget to subscribe and give me a big thumbs up if you have liked these mini series.
I have Part 2 of my Mini Series Colouring Techniques video to share with you. This time, I am sharing how I colour using opaque technique by using water colour by Artist's Loft. I bought this set from Michaels , in Canada but I have also recently seen them in Hobby Crafts, London. This water colour is quite opaque but you can also use it to have a water colour( transparent) effect. I did make a project using it a while back so I will share it here so you can watch if you like.

I hope you are all well. I have a project share today and album making is not something I fancy doing often since it takes so much time. The last time I made one was in December 2013 and I have somehow misplaced the clips until I found them last week. So I thought it would be nice to share it as it is still very relevant now in 2016- better late than never:)
As always, I am still very busy with my day job so whenever I can I do a video for you but I do not always come on here to tell you about the video. So in case you have missed it or in case you are coming across my blog for the first time, please find below a direct link to my youtube videos:-

Bringing to you a NEW Vlog Channel. I had to delete my previous one for various reasons. I am sorry that there was not any way for me to contact previous existing subscribers.
Here is my new Vlog Channel- This video will explain everything and all links will be found in the description box below video.
I hope you are all well. I have not posted a video last night as I was really really tired. I have pre loaded these videos I am putting up lately over my half term holidays in February as when I am at work, it is so hard for me to keep my channel going. Making arts and crafts video is a choice. I do it for many reasons, to relax, to unwind, but most importantly to share my passion with the world.
I thought I would send my video on 'live' this Saturday morning and watch how the traffic goes as I have noticed that if I put it 'live' on a Friday night , my video gets up to at least 100 views by the time I wake up on Saturday morning. My hubby suggested I put it 'live' now just before 9:30 am on a Saturday morning. Let's see:)
Anyway, I made this watercolour card and I hope you will learn a few techniques along the way. Please click HERE to watch it in HD on youtube or click below. Please give it a thumbs up and subscribe if you have not subscribed to my channel yet.
How are you all? I hope you had a great week and looking forward for a fantastic weekend ahead. I just love Fridays simply because this is the one day that I feel the most relaxed, even at work. Then in the evening, I do nothing but chill. I literally switch off and make my video on youtube live, update my blog then probably watch a film on netflix as hubby usually goes to play badminton. I like to have this 'me time' to just do nothing but relax.
Anyway, I have an interesting video for you, even if I say so myself. I am comparing two types of water colour, from two ends of the spectrum in terms of pricing. However, I think that while each one behaves in a similar way, but if they were human beings then I would say, they each have their own 'persona'. Each one has a different feel and texture to it when you are working with it, but on paper, they are pretty much the same. When they are completely dried up, one Gansai Tambi is slightly more vibrant, in my opinion. Other than that, they were both transparent and easy to mix and blend. I was super excited to discover this as , as an Art Teacher, I like to share good quality product, with a cheap price tag, with my pupils. I am even more excited to share it with you, my awesome subscribers and friends in the crafting world.
Without further ado, check it out HERE and watch it in HD on youtube. Please do not forget to give it a thumbs up if you liked it and share with your friends. If it is your first time here, then please go ahead and subscribe.

I hope you are all well. I am super excited to bring a fantastic markers to your attention. You may already be aware of this company but I was contacted by them and I was asked if I would be interested to do a review about their markers and chalkboard labels. I did a bit of research and was very curious to know more about them so I agreed.
Of course, I had to have a play first to see how I like them as you already know, irrespective of the fact that I got these for free, my opinon will always be honest. I would never recommend something which I do not enjoy using myself. I hope those who have followed me for a long time know that about me.
So, the markers are waterbased, non toxic, acid free , xylene free, quick drying and last lasting. I recieved the Chalkola premium wet wipe markers and it is a set of 10 'Party Colours'. When you first open the marker, the nib is bullet tip and is beige in colour, free of the chalk paint. You have to shake the marker gently then press the nib against your work surface a few times to activate the flow of the chalk fluid. Soon you will see the bullet nib starting to change colour from beige to the colour of the actual marker. Then you are ready to use it.
You can use it on hard non porous surafaces, glass, whiteboards, mirros, plastics, chalkboards and ceramics. I have demonstrated in my video how I have used it. The markers write beautifully, in a non-streak continuous flow and it rubs off extremely well with a baby wipes.

Today's video showcase a card and lots and lots of buttons. When I started making it, I thought it will be a great project but I ended up hating it. Please be sure to give it a thumbs up if you liked it or a thumbs down if you did not like it. I would really like to know your thoughts. Or leave me a comment.
